:?: I wonder this cause idek what defense does
cause we level this up but idk why cause it cant really slow the attack down so what does it do and what's it for?

YES. Extremely. If your total defence is 50%, when attacked by a wolf with 150 bite damage you'd only lose about -75 hp from their bite. If I were to attack you, you'd lose -250 or higher. It still seems like a lot of damage to take but as opposed to the full brunt of my bite (567 damage, which is how much hp you would lose if you had 0 defence) it's not all bad. It may not seem to make a lot of difference when you've hit level 50 and everyone's defence is maxed out, but take this into mind:

My total bite damage is 567.
On a white sheep it's always 500+ because sheep have very low defence.
On a wolf with maxed defence, it's only 206.
On a wolf with lower defence (lets say 40-50) my bite damage can be as high as 325.

You. Need. Defence. Max it out as quickly as possible, it maxes at 60.
