In the following post I created viewtopic.php?f=5&t=6911 back in July, just after the 1.10 update, where the main changes were CP and skill changes. This post discussed the changes made, why players were not satisfied and mostly, venom skin. Near the end of this article, if you could call it one, I left four options that could reduce backlash. One of these four was refunding gems, taking back gems from a skill so that players can decide where they want to spend those gems, while the company keeps any money spent, if any has been spent. As a player since 2017 who has seen conversations and discussions about regretting skill choices, whether accidental or purposely,
I have come to the conclusion that the most reasonable solution is indeed the ability to refunding gems.
So why exactly is this the conclusion I'm distinctively certain about?
To begin with, those who have spent gems on an unwanted skill(in the case of someone who does not have the time and money to upgrade every skill to max), are able to retrieve those gems again and have more freedom with their choices. This applies to the case of venom skin, where people believed that there weren't major changes to the skill that could impact the usage of this skill. The confusion and stress lead people to spend a mass of money or change plans for time in order to quickly max venom skin. These customers did not realise that venom skin had indeed changed, contrast to beliefs and information given. By giving players an opportunity to take back from what they don't want and don't need, will lead to a better relationship between customer, company and products. Any sudden skill changes decided will not impact the player-base as much and additionally, give the company more freedom too, to change functions of goods.
Players generally use two sets of skills and although that may be the case, there are skills which are not used. If the player spends a smaller amount of money or none at all, then progress with skills is slow and if they spent gems without being aware of the costs, it would put them at a disadvantage. For players who do spend money of gems, sure it benefits the company and sure it benefits them because if you spend money you essentially get a buff. Allowing gems to be taken back from skills will not create as big as a difference as one may think. Mostly, unwanted skills sit at a low level, this means less gems. So that small amount won't boost other skills that far, however it will improve how people perceive the game. As there are not many reliable and resourceful ways to gather gems, this will help out a large percent of the player base. The gems belong and stay to the account, they do not go elsewhere. In the case of vs, it was a cheap skill. So simply refunding the old prices would be the most relevant choice.
If needed, refunding could cost some points. Note expensive, we don't need more grinding of this game. For skills, they still need to remain at lvl one in order for the next skills be be used.
And I'm gonna end this here really informally because this is what I have left of my draft. I deleted what I had written on my phone when vs returned. However, once again, this game has disappointed me. Thank you for your time and I hope you consider that we have emotions and that we are humans. Please stop playing with us.
If you have any ideas regarding improvements that can be done in the game, post them here! Developers read this section frequently.

I think is fair if they have right to change skills , they need give us right to take back our gems we spend on skills , this will make a lot of people come back in game.
I believe this is a good idea for skills because there is some skills I want my gems back on because I don’t use that skill and also maybe a option to get coins back too.

Maybe make it so everyone can refund gems once, doesn't matter the lvl and other stuff, it should be seperate for skill trees.
